wimbledon qualies

Hi all, last week was Wimbledon qualies week and unfortunately i couldn’t reproduce the magic from last year in the singles but I did qualify in the doubles with my partner Alex Slabinsky. This was fairly unexpected as we don’t play much together but we are playing great at the moment and I am very much looking forward to getting out onto the hallowed turf again next week. I’ll keep you posted with how it goes. Thanks

    Hi Chris,

Apparently I’m one of your second cousins (well, so my Auntie tells me anyway, but hey I’m now a fan), but we’ve never met. Sorry to hear you didn’t make the singles, but hope you’ll be pleased to hear that other Eatons will be cheering you on in the doubles. Best, Joel

    Hey Chris,
You should have been picked for Davis Cup at Liverpool, some bad choices were made.
All the best for next season… Be focused and believe in yourself.

Shame you weren’t picked for Liverpool. Personally I think one of the best things about your game is that you don’t shy away from taking it to the higher ranked guys – and it looks like they could’ve used that against the Poles.

Did want to cheer you on at Queens qualies this year, but they moved all the matches indoors and wouldn’t let anyone in past the front gate! But there was a little group of us from andymurray.com who turned up with the intention of supporting you, so we were urging you on in spirit.
